Today I rolled a new toon, Evie-Mae. 7 pounds 7 ounces. Mother and baby doing well.
Happy Oorth.
I just haven’t had any time to play Warcraft since my last post.
Between work and expecting a new baby in to the world (36 days to till due date) my online time has dwindled to nearly nothing.
I will however be back in the next few weeks playing, MoP looks brilliant and I’m looking forward to playing it.
See you when the silly season of software releases ends at work.
I still need to tweak my settings, but its nice not to have to play everything on Low, Low and extra low.
Probably Troll Trade.
It’s something that really really bugs me about other people – but hey if I was going to be quitting it would be my turn to annoy others!
My bank is simply full of items for leveling professions, sometimes its full of things I definitely don’t need any longer – case in point – my Death Knight has a lot of bronze bars in his bank even though he has no need to make anything with them.
I’m not a great one for remembering to keep things, however I do have one of these for my DK and Druid’s: http://www.wowhead.com/item=33436/frost-rimed-cloth-hat#comments
I love fishing with my hat – it just looks epic.
The. Cobalt. Tanking. Set.
It was the first set of gear I got crafted for me in World of Warcraft.
This the Valley of Wisdom in Orgrimar.
I just love it. It’s home in Warcraft, its where all my characters live.
Ah this subject has caused me to consider my time in Warcraft greatly, what is it that I miss about the game since cata dropped?
Mainly I miss Single Abstract Noun, not the SAN as it is now because the group is good – but I miss the guild as it was at the end of Wrath. We were a big busy group who could run instances together all day every day because there were just so many level 80′s around.
Cataclysm definitely killed the guild as it was and its really only just picking up now.
That is mostly what I miss from old Warcraft.
I’m hoping that when MoP hits I won’t be doing another of these posts!
Ovcer the years of working with computers I’ve learned to live with the most vanilla installation possible, it makes recovering my PC much faster and easier that it may otherwise be.
Way back when I used to adorn my background with pictures of Star Trek, Star Wars and later World of Warcraft but each time I needed to rebuild my PC (Either due to slow down or due to work) I found I had to search for just the right destop background for this particular rebuild.
Since upgrading to Windows 7 however I’ve entered a world of default back drops. My background image is the Windows 7 Default image.
Why? Simply because I don’t ever have to think about it.
It’s always there everytime my PC is rebuilt.
There is honestly not a lot that upsets me in game, two things that do spring to mind are:
1. The Outlands
Specifically instancing in the outlands, there is something about that level which brings the highest number of fail pugs to the fore and it irks me. Especially whilst healing on Oorth through there I felt mind numbingly slammed by the tanks and the DPS with no regard for mana or pulling mobs off me if necessary that seemed to fill the 58 to 68 level bracket.
2. Signing up for guild events
And then not showing up without ever saying anything about it. Those in SAN will notice I never organise anything on the calendar anymore – thats because if I do and folks don’t turn up (as happened in the past on a fair few occasions) I will get grumpified and probably loose the will to play for a while.
